Refund policy

At Crosswoven, every handloom piece undergoes a rigorous quality check before it reaches you. However, we understand that issues can occasionally occur during transit. We are committed to resolving these for you promptly.

1. Returns & Eligibility

  • Conditions for Return: Returns are strictly accepted only if the product delivered is physically damaged, defective, or has a manufacturing flaw.

  • Reporting Window: Any issue must be reported to us via email at crosswoven.cw@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Used, washed, or altered products, and those without original tags, are not eligible for return.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Policy

To ensure a transparent resolution, we require a clear Unboxing Video to process any claims for damage or defects.

Requirements for the video:

  • Seal Verification: Start the video by showing all sides of the sealed package and the shipping label clearly.
  • Continuous Footage: The video must be a single, unedited clip. Any video with cuts, pauses, or edits will not be accepted.
  • Full Inspection: Record the entire process of opening the package and unfolding the item (e.g., the saree) to clearly show the defect or damage.
  • Submission: Share the video with us within 24–48 hours of receiving the order.

Note: In the absence of a complete, unedited unboxing video, Crosswoven reserves the right to decline return or exchange requests.


3. Exchanges

  • Wrong Item Delivered: If you receive a product different from what you ordered, we will facilitate a free exchange for the correct item.
  • Condition: The item must be returned unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.

4. Refunds

Refunds are processed only under the following specific conditions:

  1. Stock Unavailability: If a specific SKU (e.g., a specific saree) becomes unavailable after you have placed your order.
  2. Verified Defects: Once a returned defective item is received and verified by our Quality Assurance team.

Refund Timeline:

  • Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (Bank Account/Credit Card/UPI) within 7–10 working days.
